Helping to Protect Earth’s Last Intact Mountain Ecosystem
American-made hotel amenity company donates to organization connecting wildlife
William Roam, creators of American-made personal care products for the hospitality market, is committed to helping protect and connect the wild lands, waters and wildlife through a donation to Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y).
“William Roam has always been especially interested in supporting organizations that recognize the interconnection between people and the environment. Y2Y’s mission of protecting and connecting habitat on such a large scale impacts us all. We are proud to support their conservation work that helps promote balance in the natural world,” says Ali Murphy, CEO of William Roam.
The Y2Y organization thinks of conservation on a continental scale. Their vision is a web of life-sustaining wildlife habitats linked by movement corridors extending 2,000 miles from Yellowstone National Park to Canada’s Yukon Territory. It is a vision that seeks to reverse fragmentation; to protect and connect habitat in order for wildlife and people to coexist and thrive. Such a protected and connected network also creates the best opportunity for wild species to move and adapt to a changing climate.
“We are grateful for support from William Roam. Giving back to protect our planet’s resources, and choosing to take a responsible, ethical approach to business, can make a real difference to pressing environmental concerns. This inspiring donation will support our mission to enable the landscapes and wildlife of western North America to thrive into the future,” says Dr. Jodi Hilty, Y2Y’s president and chief scientist.
